Deepika Padukone is on cloud nine these days. Apart from her professional high and personal joys, she has a special reason to be happier than ever - her mum Ujjala is in town, spending quality time with her. And the actress hasn’t left her mother's side since she arrived, not even for a minute. Mama and baby Padukone have been spotted two days in a row at the Lakme Fashion Week that started on Tuesday night in Mumbai, attending both Sabyasachis show and Manish Malhotra's floral-decorated extravaganza.
There was some retail therapy also in progress. Ujjala and Deepika were seen exiting Gauri Khans designer interiors store Design Cell at Lower Parel last evening. “The ladies hopped in to pick up a few interior decor items. Gauris store specialises in exclusive art pieces, sculptures and home accessories. They have placed an order for a painting and other accessories for Deepikas house in Prabhadevi and their family home in Bengaluru,” says a source close to the actress.
